Sandals Resorts Ranked Cheapest To Most Expensive

Sandals Resorts are known for their luxurious amenities, and while they are not cheap resorts, some are more affordable than others. What you will find is there are two things that have a drastic effect on the price.

  1. Location – Is the resort on a more expensive island, on an amazing beach, or closer to the airport?
  2. Age or the resort or renovation

When creating this list, I did not take into account the 7-7-7 deals which made some of the rooms cheaper for this current week. Here are the Sandals Resorts ranked cheapest to most expensive.

Those deals can make a big difference and can be found here.

Sandals Ochi – $180 per person per night

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in Jamaica is the cheapest Sandals Resort, starting at just $206 per person per night. The resort offers a variety of room types, including beachfront, garden-view, and ocean-view rooms.

The cheapest Ochi room is the Riviera Grande Luxe room. The room does not have an ocean view and is similar to a normal hotel room, but has a nice private balcony. The resort is also the cheapest resort, likely based on its distance from a close airport and overall age.

Sandals Ochi has 16 restaurants and the Caribbean’s first speakeasy bar called “the Rabbit Hole”. The resort caters to guests who desire a mix of experiences and is divided into hillside and beachside suites. It is also the largest resort and has several pools and a beach area divided into three sections.

Sandals South Coast – $196 per person per night

Sandals South Coast in Jamaica is another affordable option, with prices starting at $301 per person per night. The resort features European and mostly beachfront accommodations.

This resort features Jamaica’s largest swimming pools and a stunning, private beach. Honeymooners, in particular, appreciate Sandals South Coast for its intimate atmosphere and romantic setting, where vacationers can choose to do as little or as much as they please.

Sandals South Coast has recently started renovating the French building which was overdue. The only downside is those were the least expensive rooms. Now the least expensive room is the Italian Honeymoon Beachfront which has a beautiful oceanview and balcony, starting at $327 per person per night.

Sandals Negril – $206 per person per night

The cheapest room at Sandals Negril is the Caribbean Premium which is one of the few rooms that does not face the ocean and does not have a balcony. The resort is also more affordable because it is far from the airport and a little older than the more expensive resorts.

Sandals Negril in Jamaica is known for its beautiful beach and laid-back vibe. You can see a beautiful sunset each night and have breakfast with your feet in the sand.

There are seven restaurants and five bars, including swim-up bars, that can add a special touch to your romantic getaway.

Sandals Royal Caribbean – $224 per person per night

Sandals Royal Caribbean is located in Montego Bay and is very convenient to the airport. The resort has its own private island with the only clothing-optional beach at a Sandals Resort. It is more laid back and quiet with great food options including a Thai restaurant and an Indian restaurant.

The Caribbean Poolside Luxury with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub is the cheapest room at Sandals Royal Caribbean, but even the cheapest room at this resort is new and very nice.

Sandals Regency La Toc – $259 per person per night

Sandals Regency La Toc is the cheapest Sandals Resort in Saint Lucia and is a great value. The cheapest room at Sandals Regency La Toc is the Pitons Oceanview with Private Sundeck which is located in the middle of the resort, a quick walk to nearby pools, restaurants, and the beach. With all this and an ocean view making this a great value, we would highly recommend it. I honestly do not understand why this resort isn’t more expensive.

The resort sprawls 220 acres along a half-mile, crescent-shaped beach and is known for its lush landscapes and high-end amenities. There is an on-site 9-hole course, a beautiful spa, and multiple gourmet dining options.

Sandals Halcyon Beach – $266 per person per night

Sandals Halcyon Beach is a luxurious resort that is the cheapest Sandals Resort in St Lucia with rooms starting at $324 per person per night. The Crystal Lagoon Poolside Luxury is the cheapest suite which is on the second floor of the buildings surrounding the Crystal Lagoon. The resort overall isn’t the most expensive due to the age of the resort and the beach. It doesn’t have the clear blue Caribbean waters you might want on your tropical getaway.

On the plus side, the resort has a very intimate feel and great service.

Sandals Halcyon Beach is the perfect destination for those looking for an affordable stay with luxurious amenities. The resort offers a wide range of activities, including snorkeling, kayaking, and scuba diving. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful tropical scenery, relax on the stunning beaches, or take a dip in one of the resort’s many pools.

Sandals Montego Bay – $268 per person per night

Sandals Montego Bay is one of the more expensive Sandals Resorts and is the original Sandals Resort. It is very close to the airport, and maybe too close for some with plane noise regularly. The resort is stretched along the beach and there is something for everyone here.

The Caribbean Deluxe rooms are the cheapest. They are similar to a standard hotel room, right next to one of the swimming pools.

Sandals Royal Plantation – $271 per person per night

Sandals Royal Plantation is also a favorite with lots of fans. The resort is an all-butler-level resort which adds to the price. There are two beautiful beaches and each gets amazing service from the beach bar. It is a very quiet resort and is the smallest Sandals Resort.

The Royal Monarch Oceanfront Butler Suite is the most affordable room option. The resort room interiors have not been updated in a while, but that is because the clients like it that way.

Sandals Dunn’s River – $271 per person per night

Sandals Dunn’s River is the most recently opened Sandals Resort. The resort was existing, but the rooms have been renovated or built completely new. Since it is so new, it is one of the most expensive Sandals Resorts.

Travertine Luxury Room is the cheapest room, which is actually quite expensive. It does have a great view and vacationers get access to all the other benefits of the new resort.

Sandals Grande Antigua – $280 per person per night

For the cheapest Sandals Resort outside of Jamaica, check out Sandals Grande Antigua. Rooms at the resort start at $245 per person per night, but don’t wait too long. They are going to start renovating the rooms which is sure to increase the prices.

At Sandals Grande Antigua you can relax on the pristine white sand beach, indulge in gourmet dining options, and take advantage of the numerous activities offered such as snorkeling and paddleboarding.

The Caribbean Honeymoon Premium is the cheapest room available. These rooms have a garden view with a patio and are centrally located.

Sandals Barbados – $294 per person per night

When looking at Barbados, you will notice there are two different resorts with Sandals Barbados being a cheaper resort than Sandals Royal Barbados. The resorts are actually right next to each other and regardless of which one you stay at you have access to both resorts.

Save money by booking a room at Sandals Barbados which starts at $260 per person per night for the Caribbean Deluxe room. The room is centrally located and fits all your basic needs including a small balcony.

The resort boasts numerous amenities such as gourmet dining options, premium spirits, and unlimited water sports activities. You can even go to the bowling alley at Sandals Royal Barbados.

Sandals Royal Bahamian – $300 per person per night

Sandals Royal Bahamian is one of the more expensive Sandals Resorts and is also the closest to the US. It has a lively pool area in the main area of the resort and a private island that is a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean.

West Bay Oceanview Penthouse Club Level Suite is the cheapest room at Sandals Royal Bahamian, which is a quite nice room with a view.

Sandals Royal Barbados – $315 per person per night

Sandals Royal Barbados is one of the newer Sandals Resorts and it only has club or butler-level rooms, making it one of the most expensive. The resort has multiple new food options, a bowling alley, and a lively pool that goes directly to the beach.

South Seas Crystal Lagoon Club Level Junior Palm Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub is the cheapest room, which you can tell by the name, has a soaking tub on the balcony. Just as the entire resort is fairly new, these rooms are all modern Caribbean.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian – $316 per person per night

Sandals Grande St Lucian is one of the best-rated Sandals Resort. There is a long beach with calm, clear waters, fun pools with a swim-up bar, and plenty of water sports and activities.

The cheapest rooms are the Caribbean Tropical Premium rooms. They are some of the few rooms without an ocean view.

Sandals Grenada – $317 per person per night

Sandals Grenada is the best Sandals Resort in our opinion. It is moderately compared to the other Sandals Resorts, but can get expensive with all the suites with private pools.

We loved the beach here, the staff, and the great restaurants. It is an overall, beautiful resort and island.

At Sandals Grenada the cheapest rooms are the South Seas Premium Room with Outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tub and the Pink Gin Grande Luxe Room. The South Seas room is a newer build but is on the far end of the property. The Pink Gin room is right on the beach but is an older building. Overall, I think both are great options.

Sandals Royal Curacao – $322 per person per night

Sandals Royal Curacao is one of the new additions to the Sandals portfolio of resorts. The resort has new dining concepts and is the most beautiful Sandals resort in our opinion.

While it opened with high rates, they have reduced over time, and now the Carisia Luxury is $318 per person per night. These rooms have nice-sized balconies with a view of the well-manicured gardens with the water beyond that.

Sandals Saint Vincent – $409 per person per night

Sandals Saint Vincent is the newest and most expensive Sandals Resorts. The resort was purchased by Sandals and is being completely reimagined with some buildings renovated but most of it completely new.

The Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub is the cheapest Sandals resort, which is not cheap since this is a new resort opening. It is also a very nice room with a beautiful view.
