We stayed in a Skypool suite the last time we visited Sandals Negril and were blown away. We didn’t want to leave it! Below, we’ll tell you about each of these options so you can decide which is best for you.
Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite
Located on the 3rd floor in the beachfront Bamboo Grove building, this beautiful suite offers breathtaking ocean views and an expansive balcony that features the infinity-edge Skypool, a comfy lounger, a bistro set, and a suspended daybed swing.
Inside is a living room with a sectional sofa and HD Smart TV, as well as a separate master bedroom with a plush king bed, chaise lounge, and another TV.
The ensuite bathroom has a standalone soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.
The room code is 1SKY and rates currently start at $616 per person per night.
Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite w/ Roof Terrace
Set on the 4th floor of the beachfront Bamboo Grove building, this top-of-the-line suite also has amazing ocean views and a large furnished balcony with an infinity-edge Skypool.
In addition, there’s a private roof terrace with even more fabulous views.
The interior features a living room with sectional sofa, dining table, and HD Smart TV, plus a separate master bedroom with a plush king bed, chaise lounge, and second TV. The ensuite bathroom has a standalone soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity.
The room code is RSKY and rates currently start at $676 per person per night.
Another small detail about this room is it is located next to Crema, the resort’s coffee shop. We loved going here each morning and usually another time during the day to order some of the best coffee we had of any coffee at any all-inclusive resort.
Is the Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite worth the price?
If it is in your budget or a small spluge, YES! I was wondering about this question going into our trip, but the room helped us feel completely relaxed, and we rarely wanted to leave the room. Our butler brought us food and drinks when we needed it, the coffee shop is right next door, and the pool is so inviting with an amazing view I could stare out to for hours!
If it isn’t in your budget, you get access to all the other amenities at Sandals Negril at a much lower price tag.
Is the Bamboo Grove One-Bedroom Skypool Butler Suite w/ Roof Terrace worth it?
I don’t think so. You pay more to have a rooftop you probably won’t use much…
Sandals Negril Overview
Sandals Negril was our favorite Sandals in Jamaica until Sandals Dunn’s River opened. It has a wonderful beachfront location on world-famous Seven Mile Beach, some amazing new accommodations options, great food, and excellent complimentary watersports including waterskiing and the ability to snorkel from the beach. It also offers fantastic sunsets since it’s on the western part of the island.
Sandals Negril has 4 pools, 3 whirlpools, 8 restaurants, and 5 bars. Many of the restaurants and bars are on the beach; we loved eating breakfast every day with our toes in the sand. You can also go to nearby Beaches Negril to check out the restaurants, bars, and amenities there, including a fun waterpark.
This is one of the best Sandals resorts in Jamaica, especially for couples who want a laidback, beach-centric tropical vacation or honeymoon. It is 90 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, but the roads are good and the complimentary transfer is very easy.
