Caribbean Beachview Club Level Room
This room features a private balcony with ocean views and a bistro set. The interior features a plush king bed, sitting area, smart TV, and ensuite bath with a shower/tub combination or a shower.
As a club level room, it includes a minibar that is refreshed daily and stocked with water, juice, soda, local beer, Robert Mondavi wines, and premium spirits. It also comes with extra amenities including robes in the room; access to the exclusive Club Sandals lounge; concierge service to help with making dinner, spa, and excursion reservations; and room service between 7am and 10pm.
This room is located on the second and third floors of the Cap Estate and Massade buildings, which are centrally located near the beach, main pool, and lobby. The room code is CO and rates currently start at $435 per person per night, although they vary throughout the year.
Caribbean Tropical Premium Room
This room offers a private balcony with partial ocean and tropical garden views and a bistro set. Inside is a plush king bed, sitting area, smart TV, and ensuite bath with a shower/tub combination or a shower.
This room does not come with room service, but it does have an in-room minibar that is stocked with water, juices, soda, local beer, and Robert Mondavi wines and are refreshed daily.
It is located on the second floor of the Rodney Bay building, which is centrally located near the lobby, lagoon pool, and beach. The room code is TPR and rates currently start at $446 per person per night, although they vary throughout the year.
Sandals Grande St. Lucian Overview
The largest of the three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, Sandals Grande St. Lucian is set along a beautiful mile-long beach on Rodney Bay. It has very calm water, making it perfect for the wide range of complimentary watersports including snorkeling, paddleboarding, waterskiing, and scuba diving.
You also have access to the other two resorts, Sandals Regency La Toc and Sandals Halcyon Beach, via a free shuttle. Onsite, it has 12 restaurants and 7 bars, plus a variety of complimentary activities and entertainment. Golf is also included at a nearby championship course.
This is one of our favorite Sandals resorts. Perhaps the only negative is that it’s 90 minutes from the airport. The roads are good but winding. We booked alternative transportation because we tend to get motion sickness, and we really enjoyed the ferry ride to the resort and the helicopter back to the airport. Both are great ways to see the island and we recommend doing that if you get car sick.
