Waking up in the East Bay Oceanview Grande Luxe Room at Sandals Royal Bahamian was a dream. Located on the upper floors of the East Bay building, the highlight of this room was definitely the private balcony overlooking the ocean. Each morning, we sat out with coffee in hand, watching the sunrise cast golden light across the water. It was peaceful, romantic, and the perfect way to start the day.
Inside, the room felt luxurious but comfortable. The king-size bed was soft and inviting, and the small seating area gave us a place to relax with a glass of wine or flip through photos from the day. The bathroom was modern and spacious, with a large walk-in shower, double vanities, and plenty of lighting thanks to the beautiful backlit mirror.

Though this isn’t a Club or Butler level room, we appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the stocked fridge with local beer, juice, soda, and bottled water, plus a selection of Robert Mondavi wines. It was everything we needed to unwind between adventures, and the quiet East Bay location made it feel even more like a retreat.
