What is the difference between the Island Village One Bedroom Butler Villa Suite and the Walkout Butler Villa Suite?
When comparing these two rooms, they are very similar. You will notice they are also very similar in price. I don’t really have a preference between the two of them. One is slightly larger than the other. So either one is great.
This suite is located on the ground floor of the Villas in the Island Village, which is a quieter area and the furthest from the beach. It features tropical garden views from a patio with a bistro set, Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, and access to a private plunge pool with in-pool loungers.

Inside, there’s an open concept plan with a bedroom featuring a plush king bed and HD Smart TV plus a separate sitting area with another TV. The ensuite bathroom has a dual-control walk-in shower.
This suite has a fully stocked bar that is refreshed daily and contains water, juice, soda, local beer, Robert Mondavi wines, sparkling wine, and premium liquor.
As a butler suite, this room also comes with 24-hour inroom dining and personal butler service. Your team of butlers will take care of all your needs plus arrange special extras, doing things like helping unpack, making dinner reservations and spa arrangements, reserving chairs by the beach and pool, bringing you snacks and drinks throughout the day, booking excursions, and more. Is the Island Village One Bedroom Butler Villa Suite w/ Private Pool right for you?
This is not my preferred suite at Sandals Royal Bahamian, but that doesn’t mean its not for you. I prefer to be closer to the beach. If you value privacy, personalized service, and having your own pool lounge, and you don’t need ocean views right outside your door, then the Island Village One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool is a fantastic option.
Sandals Royal Bahamian Overview
The closest Sandals to the US, Sandals Royal Bahamian is a fun, lively resort with beautiful beaches—including two on a posh private island just offshore from the main resort. The beaches all have soft white sand and crystal clear water.
The private island, which is accessible by boat, also features a restaurant and a pool with swim-up bar. You can snorkel off the beach, and can also book open-air massages from the spa (for an extra fee).
Located in Nassau, Bahamas, just a 30-minute flight from Miami (and 15 minutes from the airport), Sandals Royal Bahamian is popular for shorter visits and tends to attract a younger crowd than some of the other Sandals resorts. We’ve been three times and enjoy it very much. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet vibe, however, you may want to look at a different Sandals.
This resort has been fully renovated and has a nice range of accommodations, 7 pools, 5 whirlpools, 10 restaurants, 2 food trucks, and 8 bars. It’s close to Nassau so you can easily explore the area, and near a large waterpark which we always visit during our stays. There are a lot of fun offsite excursions you can book for an extra cost, including swimming with pigs!
