All of the 17 Sandals resorts in the Caribbean have Wifi, and even better, it’s included in your rate. The Sandals all-inclusive package covers Wifi throughout the resort as well as in your room, so you can easily use your devices.
Almost every Sandals resort Wifi review says they found the Wifi to be reliable and strong enough to place calls, go online, and check emails and social media. However, the strength of the signal can vary depending on where you are in the resort. We have found the Wifi at Sandals to be especially good in the resort lobbies, but often pretty weak on the beaches.
The first time we visited Sandals resorts, we found the complimentary Wifi speed to be around 5 Mbps, which is good enough for most uses but not for things like streaming video. When we visited the Jamaica resorts again in 2024, we found the Wifi had been upgraded and was now about 20 Mbps, which is enough to do almost everything online that you might want to.
Is Wifi free at Sandals Resorts?
Yes, Wifi is free at Sandals Resorts. Basic Wifi is part of the all-inclusive package, so you can get access in both your room and the public areas. However, while the basic Wifi is good enough for calls and going online, it may not be enough for streaming services.
If you need more, you can upgrade to premium Wifi for an extra cost. The premium Sandals resort Wifi price is about $40 or more per week. However, we haven’t noticed much of a quality difference between the basic and premium Wifi.
