Sandals South Coast from Airport Reviews

Most reviews we read about the transfer to Sandals South Coast from the airport echo our own experience—it’s pretty rough!

The roads between the airport and the resort are not in good condition, with lots of potholes that cause cars to swerve around to avoid them. They are also quite steep and winding, with lots of twists, turns, and elevation changes.

We had issues with motion sickness and highly recommend taking medicine beforehand. Others have said that they felt motion sick even though they don’t normally, so be prepared! However, some people found the drive to be scenic and interesting, and didn’t experience any carsickness.

How to get to Sandals South Coast from airport

As at all Sandals resorts, Sandals South Coast has complimentary transportation to and from the airport for all guests. This will be a shared shuttle bus if you’re in a luxury or club level room.

If you tend to get motion sickness, it might be worth it to pay for a private transfer, as you can ask them to stop along the way for a break. Private transfers are also available if you stay in a butler level suite (which also comes with personal butler service and 24-hour room service, so it’s a pretty luxurious experience and well worth it, in our opinion).

Multiple Sandals South Coast from airport reviews recommend asking your driver to stop at Border Jerk, which is about halfway to the resort, as the food there is authentic and excellent.
