One of the nicest suites at Sandals Dunn’s River in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the Tufa Terrace Swim-up One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub offers ocean views, personal butler service, and swim-up access to a river pool.
This was the suite we stayed in for our first trip to Sandals Dunn’s River and we absolutely loved it.
Sandals Dunn’s River Promotions
Located on the first floor of the Tufa Terrace building, which is completely new construction, this sleek and contemporary oceanfront suite features a private covered patio with a Tranquility Soaking Tub, dining set, and zero-entry access to the pool. Swim any time you choose, and relax on the in-pool loungers while enjoying the ocean view.
Inside, you’ll find a master bedroom with a plush king bed, a living area with comfortable furnishings, and a spa-like bathroom with another soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
This butler suite comes with a fully stocked bar including beer, soda, juice, water, Robert Mondavi wine, sparkling wine, and premium liquor, plus a coffeemaker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee; 24-hour inroom dining; and personal butler service.
Your team of butlers will take care of all your needs plus arrange special extras, doing things like helping unpack, making dinner reservations and spa arrangements, reserving chairs by the beach and pool, bringing you snacks and drinks throughout the day, booking excursions, and more.
The room code is TSUP and the rate currently starts at $644 per person per night.
Room Location
We loved the central location of these rooms. We could quickly get to the main pool, beach, to all the restaurants and pretty close to Blum Coffee and the Rum Bar.
Sandals Dunn’s River Resort Overview
One of our favorite Sandals resorts and the best Sandals in Jamaica, Sandals Dunn’s River is newer and represents the “Sandals 2.0” approach. This means new restaurant concepts with even better food, new bars serving craft cocktails, and new and even more spectacular accommodation types—all designed to elevate your overall experience.
We absolutely loved our time here and highly recommend the resort. Our favorite aspects were the new restaurants, the new Blum coffee shop, the gorgeous setting, the excellent service, the fun pools, and the amazing new accommodations like the Coyaba Sky Rondovals. We also loved the nearby excursions you can take to Dunn’s River Falls and the Blue Hole.
There are 12 restaurants, 9 bars, and 5 pools and 2 river pools at Sandals Dunn’s River, and the complimentary watersports include motorized options like waterskiing. Golf is included here, with green fees at and transportation to the Upton Estate Golf & Country Club. The spa here is also one of the best we’ve seen at any Sandals resort (services not included).
You also get access via a free shuttle to the nearby Sandals Ochi, the largest and liveliest Sandals resort, which has 16 restaurants, 11 bars, multiple cool pools, and a fun beach club.
