For a spacious suite with ocean views and personal butler service, consider the West Bay Oceanview One Bedroom Butler Suite at Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas. It is located on the second through fifth floors of the West Bay building, close to a large pool and the beach.
We have stayed in this room twice, and it is exactly what we like for a stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian, especially for its size.
Sandals Royal Bahamian Promotions
This suite features a large private balcony, furnished with comfortable seating and a bistro set. Inside, the separate living room has a sectional sofa, dining area, and HD Smart TV, plus access through sliding glass doors to the balcony.
The master bedroom has a plush king bed, a sitting area with a loveseat, a second TV, and access to the balcony from sliding glass doors. The spa-like ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and a walk-in shower.
This suite has a fully stocked bar that is refreshed daily and contains water, juice, soda, local beer, Robert Mondavi wines, sparkling wine, and premium liquor.
As a butler suite, this room also comes with 24-hour inroom dining and personal butler service. Your team of butlers will take care of all your needs plus arrange special extras, doing things like helping unpack, making dinner reservations and spa arrangements, reserving chairs by the beach and pool, bringing you snacks and drinks throughout the day, booking excursions, and more. You also get private luxury car airport transfers.

West Bay vs East Bay
When you look at rooms you will notice some are in the West Bay building and others are in the East Bay. There really isn’t too much difference between the two, so I recommend picking the room that works better for you.
The West Bay is the more energetic side of the resort. It’s close to the main pool so you might hear music throughout the day more than the East Bay.
The East Bay on the other hand, offers a much more tranquil and secluded experience and is ideal for couples who want a peaceful beach vacation. The pool on this side is more laid-back, but without the music and games of West Bay.
Both areas are within walking distance of each other, thanks to the resort’s compact layout. We have stayed in both and slightly prefer the West Bay.
Sandals Royal Bahamian Overview
The closest Sandals to the US, Sandals Royal Bahamian is a fun, lively resort with beautiful beaches, including two on a private island just offshore from the main resort. The beaches all have soft white sand and crystal clear water.
The private island, which is accessible by boat, also features a restaurant and a pool with swim-up bar. You can snorkel off the beach, and can also book open-air massages from the spa (for an extra fee).
Located in Nassau, Bahamas, just a 30-minute flight from Miami (and 15 minutes from the airport), Sandals Royal Bahamian is popular for shorter visits and tends to attract a younger crowd than some of the other Sandals resorts. We’ve been three times and enjoy it very much. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet vibe, however, you may want to look at a different Sandals.
This resort has been fully renovated and has a nice range of accommodations, 7 pools, 5 whirlpools, 10 restaurants, 2 food trucks, and 8 bars. It’s close to Nassau so you can easily explore the area, and near a large waterpark, which we always visit during our stays. There are a lot of fun offsite excursions you can book for an extra cost, including swimming with pigs!
