The Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub & the Bamboo Palm Partial Ocean View Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub at Sandals Saint Vincent are perfect for a romantic and laid-back vacation.
We loved our stay here and even though these rooms are only Luxury level suites, they are more modern and nicer than some club and butler suites we see at other Sandals Resorts. The only thing we wish were different was the lack of room service.

The Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub vs Bamboo Palm Partial Ocean View Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
The only difference in these rooms is the location in the building. The building is curved, so the rooms on one side of the resort have a partial ocean view while the other side faces the rest of the resort, mountains, and the direction of the lobby. Other than this, these rooms have the same layout, amenities, and features.

The Bedroom
The room had a bright and airy feel, with a calming color palette of soft neutrals, warm wood tones, and subtle tropical accents. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable—one of the best we’ve experienced—and perfectly positioned to catch the morning light pouring in through the large sliding glass doors that led to the balcony.

There was a small seating area as well, ideal for relaxing indoors during the hottest part of the day. Everything felt modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with just enough space to unpack and feel at home without feeling oversized.
Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
Our favorite feature by far was the Tranquility Soaking Tub on the balcony. Tucked behind privacy curtains and surrounded by lush greenery, it offered a peaceful, secluded space to unwind. We ended almost every evening soaking in the tub with drinks in hand, listening to the sounds of nature and feeling completely disconnected from the outside world.
The view from the balcony wasn’t directly oceanfront, but it was still beautiful—tropical gardens, swaying palms, and glimpses of the hills that frame the resort. It felt like our own private little hideaway.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and had a very spa-like feel. It featured a double vanity with stone countertops, plenty of shelf space, and soft lighting around the mirrors—perfect for getting ready together. The walk-in rain shower was large and luxurious, with excellent water pressure and upscale finishes.

Sandals’ signature Red Lane Spa bath products were provided in stylish wall-mounted dispensers, and the towels and robes were always fresh and plush. It was everything we needed to feel pampered without even leaving the room.
Why We Loved the Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
Romantic and relaxing: The soaking tub was a perfect touch for a romantic getaway, private, peaceful, and such a unique feature.
Great location: The Bamboo Palm building is centrally located, so we were just steps from the pools, restaurants, and beach, but it still felt quiet and tucked away.
Beautiful design: From the balcony to the bathroom, every detail of the room was polished and well thought out. It felt like a high-end hotel room, but with that laid-back Caribbean charm.

About Sandals Saint Vincent
This was our first time at Sandals Saint Vincent, and we’re already talking about going back. The resort is beautifully spread out, with lush greenery, mountain views, and a peaceful vibe that sets it apart from other Sandals properties we’ve visited.
Dining: There are 11 restaurants on-site, and the food was excellent across the board. We especially enjoyed Buccan for local flavors and Gatsu Gatsu for fresh sushi and sashimi.
Pools & beach: There are five pools on the property, including a couple of swim-up bars, but none of them ever felt busy or loud. The beach was just as calm, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the turquoise water.
Activities: Everything is included—scuba diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, tennis, and more. We also took advantage of the bikes and golf carts available to explore the resort at our own pace.
Service & ambiance: The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. The whole resort had a calm, exclusive feel, but never felt stuffy or overly formal. It was the perfect setting for a romantic, no-stress escape.
Is the Bamboo Palm Partial Ocean View Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub worth the extra cost?
The only difference is the view from these rooms. We find the view of the ocean relaxing and worth a little extra, but not worth it if there’s a big price difference. Prices vary so we check and make a decision based on the price difference for our vacation dates.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a romantic and relaxing room that combines modern comfort with Caribbean charm, the Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub is an excellent choice. With its peaceful location, luxury touches, and access to everything the resort offers, it gave us exactly the kind of laid-back, love-filled vacation we were hoping for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.
