Sandals St. Vincent Resort Review 2025

I’m going to make this easy for you and then give you the full Sandals Saint Vincent Review.

If you are considering going to Sandals Saint Vincent and see a room that fits your budget, BOOK IT NOW! You will not regret a trip to Sandals Saint Vincent and it is my favorite Sandals Resort after visiting every single one. We love the gorgeous and peaceful setting, the friendly hospitality, and the elevated food and accommodation options.

Located between lush hills and the sparkling sea, Sandals St. Vincent covers 50 acres. It has a beautiful white-sand beach, 12 restaurants, 9 bars, and 4 pools.

Getting to Sandals St. Vincent

Although this resort is located a bit further away than most of the other Sandals resorts, and there aren’t as many international flights, it is well worth the time and effort to get here. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a beautiful and peaceful island, and this resort really shines.

The resort is 40 minutes from the airport via Sandals’ complimentary transportation.

If you get motion sickness, take a Dramamine before your flight lands. Then, on the way to the resort, you want to sit on the left side of the vehicle. This way you can see the horizon and watch the beautiful views of the island as you make your way to the resort.

If you book a Butler suite, you will have the option of taking the ferry. This means a 20-minute drive to the marina followed by a 20-minute ferry to the resort. It doesn’t save you time, but it does get you off the road and is an enjoyable boat ride.

Rooms and Suites

You have a good variety of rooms and suites to choose from here, including the spectacular two-story overwater villas, which come with personal butler service and 24-hour in-room dining.

Luxury Rooms

When looking at Sandals Saint Vincent, even the lowest category rooms are amazing.

  • Bamboo Palm Partial Oceanview Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub

There are only two rooms in this category. They are both located in the Bamboo Palm building which is centrally located. Both are modern, large rooms with balconies. The only thing this room lacks is room service, so if that is a big selling point for you then I would look for a Club level room or above.

Club Rooms

  • Lady Palm Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Club Suite with Fitness Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Partial Oceanview Club Suite with Media Room and Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Bamboo Palm Club Swim-up Room with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Lady Palm Club Swim-up Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub

With these rooms, you get the benefits of Club Sandals, including the concierge services available and room service. The rooms are larger than the luxury level rooms with either a Media room, fitness room, a swim up suite or combination of the two.

Here you also have one room with a partial ocean view. This would be my preferred room. While I do love a swim up suite, because of the natural beauty of the area I would rather have a higher room with a great view.

Butler Villas

Another luxurious option is the beachfront butler villa, which we stayed in. It has a separate living room and bedroom, so you have plenty of space, and it features a great private patio with loungers and a private pool. In the bathroom you’ll find an oversized soaking tub, double vanities, and a walk-in shower. It comes with 24-hour in-room dining and personal butler service.

  • Garden Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • One-Bedroom Garden Butler Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • One-Bedroom Garden Butler Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub
  • Beachfront Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Beachfront One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Beachfront One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Media Room and Private Pool
  • Beachfront Two-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Private Pool
  • Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villa

These villas were actually already built before Sandals bought the abandoned resort. There are several garden villas to choose from with settle differences. The cost goes up based on the size of the room, ranging from 745 to 1,382 square feet.

The most coveted villas are the beachfront or overwater villas. I actually prefer the Beachfront One-Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Media Room and Private Pool over the overwater villas because of the layout and the private plunge pool. These villas are harder to find available, they are expensive but they provide for an amazing experience.

Food and Drink

Sandals St. Vincent offers some unique dining and drinking options, and really provides an amazing experience in both areas.

There are 12 restaurants, only a few of which can be found at other Sandals resorts. The unique choices include a healthy option, a restaurant that serves local dishes family-style, a seafood restaurant, a beach club, Italian, and an excellent sushi restaurant with other Asian dishes. There is also a Butch’s Steak and Seafood, Caribbean Jerk Shack, and pizzeria in addition to the Rum Club, Blum’s coffee shop, and Crema ice cream.

We felt like everything was just a few steps above what you’ll usually find at a Sandals resort.

The 9 bars include swim-up bars and the Rum Club.

Certainly! Here’s a comprehensive list of the dining options available at Sandals Saint Vincent, each offering unique culinary experiences:

Dining Options at Sandals Saint Vincent

Buccan – We loved this experience as a way to try a bunch of different local specialties. Everything is served family-style with dishes like lamb curry, grilled snapper, and tropical chutneys, all served in a lively, open-air setting. Reservations are required here.

Butch’s Island Chop House – An upscale steakhouse that is an elevated version of the Butch’s at other Sandals resorts.

Scrimshaw – My favorite restaurant at Sandals Saint Vincent specializing in locally sourced dishes such as conch fritters, lobster, and Mahi Mahi, set in a nautical-themed ambiance.

Gatsu Gatsu – While many Sandals resorts have a Soy Suchi or Kimonos, the asian option here is more modern with sushi rolls, ramen bowls, and izakaya-style small plates. We love the sharing a variety of smaller dishes.

Sora – Another great option with Italian-American cuisine. This is where you can have a breakfast buffet which is the only place we have breakfast while on resort. The dinner includes à la carte options, including Caprese salad, risotto, and classic desserts like tiramisu.

Parisol Beach Club – This is where you can get a la carte breakfast or lunch. We loved the small bites like Mahi bites and fried chicken, but you can also have a larger lunch as well.

Imoro – For a quick, healthy meal you can get green bowls and salads, featuring ingredients like jerk pork, smoked mackerel, and tropical fruits.

Isola Pizzeria – Get a brick-oven pizzas made to order, with options ranging from classic Margherita to jerk chicken and meat lover’s, including gluten-free and vegan choices.

Jerk Shack – You can’t go to the Caribbean without getting jerk chicken!

Blum – We loved starting our day with specialty coffee. They also have freshly baked pastries, perfect for a quick breakfast or mid-morning snack.

Crema – Perfect for grabbing Indulge in a fusion of Jamaican coffee and ice cream, offering treats like affogato and boozy coffee cocktails made with local rum.

Three Jewels Rum Bar – The best place to hangout in the evening and they now have food too!

Activities and Amenities

Sandals Saint Vincent offers a diverse array of activities and amenities designed to provide guests with an unforgettable all-inclusive experience. Here’s an overview of what you can enjoy during your stay.

The Beach

The beach is a crescent-shaped beach with soft, white sand, and calm waters. On one end of the beach are the water sports and a beach bar and on the other end are the two story villas. Steps from the beach is the Parisol Beach Club as well as the salad and pizza restaurants.

The beach has plenty of chairs for lounging with umbrellas. Sometimes people complain about chairs not being available but we haven’t witnessed this ourselves.

The beach is a public beach so a few residence might come from the nearby town to enjoy the beach. It really bothers me that people complain about this since it is their home. Recently we have seen cruise guests that are in for the day show up on the beach as well. They do stay to one end of the beach but it is something you might see during your stay.

Pools

There is one main pool at the resort and several others to choose from.

Main Pool: A 300-foot linear pool serves as the resort’s centerpiece, perfect for swimming and lounging, including a swim up bar that is the center of activity.

Infinity Pool: Located near Parisol Beach Club, offering stunning ocean views. These are the most coveted pool chairs due to the prime location.

Heart-Shaped Pool: A secluded quiet spot ideal for couples seeking tranquility.

Spa Pool: Part of the Red Lane® Spa, featuring a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool for ultimate relaxation.

Water Sports

There are plenty of water sports to try. The water sports team is very accommodating so just let them know what you are looking to do and they will get you going. I would go wake boarding everyday and Michelle would join me for tubing.

Scuba Diving: Certified divers can explore vibrant coral reefs and marine life with up to two dives per day, all included.

Snorkeling: Discover the underwater world with complimentary snorkeling excursions.

Kayaking & Paddleboarding: Enjoy the calm Caribbean waters with these non-motorized water sports.

Motorized Water Sports: Experience the thrill of activities like tubing and kneeboarding.

Land Activities

As part of the all-inclusive experience, guests have access to a variety of land sports:

Beach Volleyball: Engage in friendly matches on the pristine sands.

Bocce Ball

Pickleball & Tennis

Scenic Bike Tours

Guided Hikes

State-of-the-Art Fitness Center

Group Fitness Classes

Entertainment & Nightlife

Live Music & Performances: Each night the resort has local entertainment, including live bands and shows.

Themed Nights: Participate in events like beach parties and Caribbean-themed evenings.

Excursions

The most popular excursions is going to Bequia and the Tobago Cays by catamaran. We still haven’t done this since the boat ride is too long for us. You can also go whale watching or going to hike the volcano.
