The Cheapest Sandals Resort 2025

If you’re interested in vacationing or honeymooning at a Sandals resort, you’re probably aware that they can be quite expensive. And although the all-inclusive rate covers a lot, including all meals and snacks, all drinks including premium liquors, a wide range of activities including snorkeling and scuba diving, tips and taxes, and airport transfers, it can still be a big hit to your budget.

If you’re looking to enjoy the Sandals experience for less, you may be wondering…

What is the least expensive Sandals location?

The least expensive Sandals location is almost always Sandals Ochi, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. As the largest Sandals resort, it has a ton of rooms so can offer more affordable rates.

You can usually get a room here for under or around $200 per person per night—and while these entry-level rooms don’t have ocean views or room service, they do have private balconies and a stocked in-room minibar.

This is also where you can often find the cheapest butler suites at a Sandals resort, although it pays to check the 777 deal, which puts 7 rooms at 7 different resorts on sale every 7 days. Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, also often offers more affordable butler suite rates.

There are other Sandals locations that can be less expensive as well. Let’s take a closer look at the 5 cheapest Sandals resorts: Sandals Ochi, Sandals Negril, Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals South Coast, and Sandals Regency La Toc. Sandals Grande Antigua often has cheaper rates, too—at least until they finish updating all the rooms.

Sandals Ochi, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

The biggest Sandals resort, Sandals Ochi has 16 restaurants, 11 bars, and a wide assortment of activities. It is split into two parts—the hillside and the beach area—so it can be a long walk to get from one place to another, although there is a shuttle you can take. We recommend booking a room in the area you want to spend the most time in.

This is also the liveliest Sandals resort, although you can find more peaceful areas. The most affordable room here currently starts at $197 per person per night, and includes a private balcony and tropical garden views. It does not include room service but, like all rooms at Sandals resorts, does have a complimentary minibar that is stocked with water, juice, soda, local beer, and Robert Mondavi wine.

Sandals Negril, Jamaica

The laidback Sandals Negril is set on world-famous Seven Mile Beach, offering soft white sand, clear and calm turquoise water, and stunning sunsets. We love this resort—in fact, it was our favorite Sandals in Jamaica until Dunn’s River opened.

The entry-level room here currently costs $221 per person per night, although rates vary throughout the year. It has both a balcony and an ocean view, but does not include room service.

Sandals South Coast, Whitehouse, Jamaica

Sandals South Coast is often a top pick for honeymooners due to the secluded location, pristine 2-mile beach, and romantic overwater bungalows (which are NOT affordable!). The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the 90-minute ride from the airport on winding roads, but if you don’t get carsick you won’t have any issues.

The lowest-priced room here is currently $201 per person per night, and includes beautiful beach and ocean views and a private balcony but no room service.

Sandals Royal Caribbean, Montego Bay, Jamaica

Sandals Royal Caribbean is conveniently located close to the airport in Montego Bay and has a beautiful private island with a serene beach, a pool and swim-up bar, and an excellent Thai restaurant. Guests here also get access to everything at the nearby Sandals Montego Bay via a free shuttle.

The least expensive room here currently starts at $207 per person per night and features pool and tropical garden views plus a balcony with a Tranquility Soaking Tub for Two (but no room service).

Sandals Regency La Toc, St. Lucia

Sandals Regency La Toc is our favorite of the three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, offering a stunning location including hillside and beautiful beachfront. You can enjoy a huge variety of restaurants and bars at this location plus the other two resorts, via a free shuttle.

The entry-level room here doesn’t have room service or a walkout balcony, but instead has a “French balcony,” which is a decorative railing across French doors. It offers tropical garden views and a sitting area.

How to Save Money on a Sandals Vacation

Even if you don’t stay at the cheapest Sandals resort, you can still save money on your Sandals vacation. First, consider booking in the low season. This is typically June to November.

Next, check for deals and discounts. Sandals always has a promotion happening, and there are multiple other specials like the 777 deal, last-minute deals, and more. There are also 10% discounts for military personnel, first responders, and FEMA staff.
