This suite gives you the luxury of a swim-up room, the perks of Club Sandals service, and the serenity of a tucked-away corner of the resort, all without the sky-high cost of some of the resort’s other premium suites. It’s become one of our absolute favorite room categories for that reason.
The Caribbean Village
You’ll find these suites in the Highgrove Building, on the ground floor of the Caribbean Village. The area is quiet, surrounded by tropical gardens and the Crystal Lagoon pool that winds past your patio.
That said, the location is on the far edge of the property, so it’s a bit of a walk to get to the beach, main restaurants, or entertainment hubs. There’s one bar nearby (which is a nice bonus), but if you like being in the middle of the action, this room might feel a little out of the way.
The Suite: Swim-Up Luxury Without the Splurg
Inside, the suite is bright with a king-size bed, seating area, and the large HD Smart TV we never used. The in-room bar is fully stocked with a selection of liquors, local beers, juices, and Robert Mondavi wines, and replenished daily.
The bathroom has a spa-like feel with modern lighting, a glass-enclosed shower, and elegant backlit mirrors. It’s not over-the-top, but it’s thoughtfully done and has everything you need to relax and refresh.
But the real highlight is the swim-up patio. We loved being able to open our door in the morning and step right into the pool. The patio features a Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, privacy curtains, and a little bistro set perfect for outdoor coffee or an afternoon snack. It’s private, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.
