The Honeymoon Hideaway One Bedroom Butler Suite at Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia is a very unique room that has some strong pros and cons. You get a great value with having a private pool, but the room is far from the beach and the rest of the resort.
This is one of the most affordable butler suites at Regency La Toc, our favorite of the three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. The current Honeymoon Hideaway One Bedroom Butler Suite cost starts at $499 per person per night, although rates vary throughout the year.
The Private Pool
This private and peaceful suite has tropical garden views and a large terrace with a private plunge pool, loungers, and a bistro set, accessible through sliding glass doors from both the master bedroom and living area. The pool is just steps from the bed, so you can go swimming at any time.
While I may not spend too much time in the room during most trips, when I have a private pool like this I find myself relaxing in the room a lot.
The Room
The open living area has comfortable furnishings and a full bar with premium spirits, while the master features a plush 4-poster king bed. The spacious bath has a walk-in rain shower or a tub with shower, depending on the room. Throughout you’ll find stone floors, mahogany furnishings, and a contemporary elegance.
This suite comes with 24-hour in-room dining and personal butler service.
Location on Resort
This room is pretty much perfect, but the only complaint we hear is that it is too far from the rest of the resort. It is a short walk to get to anything, and while it is short, that walk can still get old.
Additionally, there isn’t a good view from the room. At some of the rooms with a private pool and a view I could stay there all day admiring the view from the pool.
Our thoughts on the Honeymoon Hideaway One Bedroom Butler Suite are that it is a great choice and the cons bring the price down so if you are ok with them, this is a great room for you.
