Sandals Negril Overview
Sandals Negril was our favorite Sandals Resort in Jamaica until Sandals Dunn’s River opened. It has a wonderful beachfront location on world-famous Seven Mile Beach, some amazing new accommodations options, great food, and excellent complimentary watersports including waterskiing and the ability to snorkel from the beach. It also offers fantastic sunsets since it’s on the western part of the island.
Sandals Negril has 4 pools, 3 whirlpools, 8 restaurants, and 5 bars. Many of the restaurants and bars are on the beach; we loved eating breakfast every day with our toes in the sand. You can also go to nearby Beaches Negril to check out the restaurants, bars, and amenities there, including a fun waterpark.
This is one of the best Sandals resorts in Jamaica, especially for couples who want a laidback, beach-centric tropical vacation or honeymoon. It is 90 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, but the roads are good and the complimentary transfer is very easy.
