Riviera Honeymoon Luxury Review at Sandals Ochi

The Riviera Honeymoon Luxury room is one of the best value options for couples visiting Sandals Ochi. It’s perfect for guests looking for an affordable, all-inclusive, tropical vacation.

Overview & Vibe

The Riviera Honeymoon Luxury room is part of the Riviera Seaside Village, which is located on the ocean-facing side of the resort, closest to the beach. The room is near several pools, including our favorite, the Riviera Pool, which has music, a swim-up bar, and is next to a pizza place, and several quieter pools.

This is the building where the rooms are found. The other side of this building are the rooms with the beach views.

It is also close to many restaurants, including Vista Sky, Soy, Kimonos, Kelly’s Dockside, Valentinos, The Reef, Neptunes, and Tapas on the Riviera.

While it’s not beachfront or ocean view, the room is steps from the beach.

These rooms have recently been refreshed with a vibe that feels lighter and more modern with clean lines, soft neutral tones, and pops of color and new art.

Room Features

  • King-size bed
  • Flat-screen Smart TV
  • Seating area for lounging or working
  • Fully stocked mini fridge with water, juice, soda, wine, and local beer
  • Spa-style bathroom with modern vanity and shower
  • Most come with a balcony or large window (depending on room layout)
  • Air conditioning, ceiling fan, in-room safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi

While the room doesn’t offer room service or concierge perks, it’s fully equipped for a comfortable stay with daily housekeeping, turndown service, and access to all the resort’s amenities.

The Riviera Honeymoon Luxury rooms are located on the 2nd – 4th floor.

Who It’s Best For

This room is ideal for:

  • Honeymooners on a budget who still want a romantic, well-located space
  • First-time Sandals guests looking for a great value
  • Couples who plan to spend most of their time exploring the resort, beach, and pools
  • Guests who don’t need room service or butler-level perks

This resort is not the best for guests with mobility issues since there are a lot of stairs. Additionally, you should know that the resort is divided by a road and you need to take a shuttle to get to one side to the other. On the hillside, you will find more dining options, including our favorite, the Jerk Shack, the largest, most lively pool, and nighttime entertainment like the Chocolate party and the Rabbit Hole, the speakeasy.
