The Melemele Club Level Walkout Junior Suite provides a peaceful, garden-side escape with just the right amount of luxury. Located in Building M2, our room felt tucked away in a quiet corner of the resort, yet it was just steps from a semi-private pool and offered glimpses of the ocean beyond the lush landscaping.
There is a private patio surrounded by tropical greenery equipped with a Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, tucked behind privacy curtains. We spent nearly every evening soaking in that tub with a glass of wine, letting the day melt away. The bistro table and lounge chairs made it feel like we had our own little outdoor retreat.

Inside, the room was stylish and inviting, with a king-size bed, HD Smart TV, and a cozy sitting area that was great for lounging in the mornings. The spa-style bathroom was modern and sleek, with a dual-control walk-in rain shower and a large glass window that looked into the bedroom, giving it a contemporary open feel. While the single vanity meant a bit of sharing space, it wasn’t a problem for us.
We loved the Club Level service. The private check-in was smooth and relaxed, and having the Club Sandals concierge available made it easy to get dinner reservations and activity suggestions. In-room dining during the day was a big plus on the days we didn’t want to leave our private patio, and the Club Lounge was a nice perk for grabbing a drink or quick snack before heading out.
Melemele Building at Sandals Royal Curaçao
If your idea of the perfect getaway includes peaceful mornings and quiet afternoons by the pool, the Melemele Building might be exactly what you’re looking for. Located on the far end of the resort, just past the Greek restaurant, these rooms are tucked away next to one of the resort’s quiet pools, offering a serene and relaxed atmosphere ideal for couples who want to truly unplug.
You’re just steps from a la carte dining at the Greek restaurant, and not far from the food trucks, which offer a fun, casual dining option throughout the day.
While it’s one of the furthest buildings from the beach and main pools, we never found the walk to be a hassle, and it’s a peaceful, scenic stroll that gives you a chance to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds.

The food here is elevated and better than most Sandals Resorts. We loved the food trucks for lunch, the coffee shop each morning, and an iced latte during the day. For dinner, there are so many options, but my favorites are Zuka and Gatsu Gatsu.
Pools & Beach
The resort has several large pools, including the iconic Dos Awa Infinity Pool, a stunning two-level infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a quiet secluded pool and pools with swim-up suites.
The beach has clear, calm water perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. This is not the typical beach location since the beach that is swimmable is set on a river inlet with a floating dock creating the beach area.
Activities & Inclusions
At Sandals Royal Curacao, there are unlimited water sports like paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving for certified divers. On land there is tennis, pickleball, beach volleyball, and access to a scenic 18-hole golf course (at additional cost).
At the main pool there is entertainment throughout the day and each night you can expect themed entertainment.
