Is There a Sandals Resort in Aruba?

If you want to visit Aruba and you like adult-only all-inclusive resorts, you might be wondering, does Sandals have a resort in Aruba?

The answer is no. While there are Sandals resorts located on islands throughout the Caribbean, these don’t currently include a Sandals resort in Aruba. However, there is a Sandals resort in Curacao, which is a neighboring island. It is also part of the ABC islands, if you’re looking for a Sandals resort outside of the hurricane zone.

Read on to learn about this and other great options if you were interested in a Sandals resort in Aruba.

Sandals Royal Curacao: The Next Best Thing to a Sandals Resort in Aruba

One of the newer Sandals resorts, Sandals Royal Curacao is nestled in a private preserve, offering peaceful seclusion and extraordinary natural beauty along Curacao’s southern coast.

The private white-sand beach stretches along a calm lagoon with the stunning sapphire-colored water that Curacao is famous for. The unique Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows are set right on this beautiful beachfront and feature private pools with ocean views, private patios with Tranquility Soaking Tubs™ for Two, and a spacious interior with seating and dining areas plus walk-in rain showers. These come with personal butler service and 24-hour in-room dining.

There are also oceanview swim-up suites as well as a range of other accommodation options. These include our favorites, the Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalows with extended sun decks and Tranquility Soaking Tubs for Two (with privacy curtains) plus loungers and a bistro set. They also come with personal butler service and 24-hour in-room dining. These are set around a lagoon with an island, and we loved how private and secluded they felt while still being close to the resort amenities.

We also loved the food here. There are 11 restaurants and 7 of them are exclusive to Sandals Royal Curacao. There are also 3 food trucks by the beach. You can get local cuisine, Spanish tapas, European fusion, Italian, sushi, Asian, Mediterranean, Dutch dishes, seafood, Central and South American, steaks, grilled items, and more.

Another amazing aspect of Sandals Royal Curacao is the first-ever two-level infinity pool, which overlooks the ocean and has mountain views as well. We were really impressed by it and enjoyed the swim-up bar and entertainment.

In addition to a wide range of complimentary watersports such as scuba and snorkeling, golf is also included at a nearby championship course. We also recommend exploring the island, and there are multiple cool excursions you can book for an extra cost. You can also just go wander the capital city of Willemstad, which is charming and has brightly colored architecture and plenty of shops, cafes, and bars.

Is Sandals Curacao adults-only? Yes, like all Sandals resorts, Sandals Royal Curacao is only for guests ages 18 and up.
